my sawsall is busted. the thing the blade goes into swivels 360 and the blade wont lock in. It was one of my favorite tools.

The old way my mother used to get back into her apartment was to unscrew the doorknob from the exterior side (yes, it had screws on the exterior!?) and pop it open. The other way was to jimmy the actual latch with a screwdriver, because it had barely any holding force.

Could of just drilled out the tumblers in the lock... Guess it depends which costs more, the door or the lock.
